Subscription Boxes That Stand Out

Make Your Own PR Box
Incidentally, subscription boxes also make great PR boxes.
For those who may not know, a PR box is something you send to influential people in hopes of getting publicity for your brand. Recipients could publish unboxing videos featuring your brand or post about it on their social media channels.
Sending PR boxes to influencers or members of the media will expose your brand to a lot of people. Make sure that your boxes are good enough to leave a lasting impression.

This is important because you need to make sure that your design turns out exactly as you envisioned it. It’s also a good way of checking if you got the size and material right.
You can specify the size of your subscription mailer box. As for the material, you have three options: kraft (brown, corrugated cardboard), standard white, and premium white. You have the option to print on the outside, inside, or both.
The same options apply to PR boxes.
Subscription shipping boxes have three standard size options: 11 x 8.5 x 5.5 in., 12 x 12 x 5.5 in., and 13 x 13 x 10 in. However, you can specify a size by ordering through the Custom tab.
The outside of the standard box uses a white corrugated board and kraft on the inside.

Design Custom Subscription Boxes
Subscription packaging needs to have a consistent design. That doesn’t mean you can’t change things up from time to time. However, your boxes will need to have elements that are consistent with your branding.
For instance, you could use the same colors whenever you do a design refresh. Or you can have your logo placed in the same location each time.
This way, your customers won’t get confused whenever your boxes arrive at their doorsteps.
